How to get to The Grove
The accessible entrance to the building at 18 Louisa Street is on the left side of the building. If the door is locked, use buzzer code 2800 and you will be buzzed in. Use the elevator to go to the 2nd floor (press 2). Once on the 2nd floor, exit the elevator, and turn right at the hallway, towards Stairwell A. The studio is on your left right before the stairs.

March 8: 1pm to 4pm BLKGurl hosts Yogalates for a practice aimed to find strength, balance and inner peace. This event is free, and a closed space for BLKGURLS (persons of African, Caribbean and/or Black ancestry marginalized by gender and/or sexuality). Registration required.
March 14: 1pm to 3pm Imagining Otherwise Community Conversation Café with Civic Imagination Lab. This youth-led gathering marks the culmination of Imagining Otherwise, a participatory arts journey exploring more caring, just, and sustainable futures.
March 15: 1:30pm to 2:30pm The Penultimatum with Velvet. Learn a new improv longform practice centered in creating and releasing dramatic tension. Masked
March 21: 4 – 5:30pm Encuentros with Fátima Alvarenga. Guided by Fátima Alvarenga, these sessions are designed to feel good in your body while expanding your understanding of yoga as a whole. The playlist is intentional, energy is warm, and you’ll leave knowing more yoga than you came in with.
March 24: 7 – 8:30pm Myron Rusk 2026 Lecture in Civil Liberties: “Trans Freedom and the Utopian Horizon”. M. E. O’Brien will lecture on the relationship between gender freedom and capitalism. To register and receive the the zoom link if needed: Please fill out this form
March 27: 5pm – 8pm Pride is Political’s Trans Day of Visibility Social and Clothing Swap (more details to come)
March 28: 11am – 3pm Trans Day of Visibility Lucky Rabbit Tattoo Flash Day Flash designs will be released on Saturday, March 14th and will be available to book at 12 PM the same day. Please contact the individual artist via Instagram to book your spot! Masked
